Associate Director - Sales (Audience Measurement - Syndicated Products)
Make Your Mark At Ipsos
Ipsos is seeking a commercially driven salesperson who will both self-start and work within a team to accelerate Ipsos’ syndicated product revenue. As a key member of the syndicated media team, you will work closely with our sales lead to build and manage the sales pipeline from outreach to close by leveraging our proprietary products across agencies, brands, and publishers. You should be someone who thrives on delivering against ambitious sales targets with a hunger to drive growth.
The level of this role would suit a mid-career person. We are keen to hear from applicants that can demonstrate success, a proven track record in selling syndicated products together with the networks and contacts in the Media / Audience measurement industry. We are keen to see sales targets and achievements as part of your CV/application.

This role sits in our UK Audience Measurement team who work with an enviable roster of clients across publishers, agencies, brands, JICs, and government bodies.

The focus of this role is promoting and selling our syndicated solutions, which include Ipsos iris and Ipsos Global Influentials.
These syndicated solutions are used by the industry to deliver actionable insights that support the sales, planning, and buying process. However, given their nature, the solutions applications are relevant to many industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue: Own your revenue target and collaborate to deliver against broader targets.
- Pipeline management: Work across the sales pipeline to generate, qualify, and close leads in a timely manner using advantageous sales techniques.
- Negotiation: Reaching win-win scenarios quickly across commercials and contracts to speed up close.
- Winning relationships: Identify, grow, and nurture beneficial relationships.
- Product evangelisation: Deep knowledge and curiosity about value applications of solutions.
- Market knowledge: Industry, competitor, and client knowledge to position solutions for benefit/outcome-led sales.
- Go-to-market strategy: Work with senior management to input into commercial sales strategy for Ipsos syndicated solutions.
About you:
The role requires a passionate salesperson who will accelerate and maintain revenue growth. We are seeking someone with the following attributes:
- Network: You bring an established network and strong understanding of the media industry across agencies, publishers, and brands. Experience of selling and understanding applications of syndicated across verticals outside media would be advantageous.
- Commercial: Mid-career professional in media with proven sales experience. Ability to mobilise contacts and networks to quickly set up meetings, push through the sales pipeline, and negotiate winning outcomes.
- Communications: Ability to cut through the noise, engage, listen, deal with objections, and deliver compelling narratives/proposals that demonstrate outcomes and ROI.
- Knowledge: You have excellent knowledge of media research and its applications within media and outside is also advantageous.
- Mindset: A self-starter who is goal-orientated, tenacious, resilient, and curious.
