How you'll make an impact
The Associate Director (“AD”) supports the Client Services Directors to execute strategy, provide operational oversight and manage corporate initiatives. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the management team, responsible for managing a team of client service managers and account managers.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of insurance management for a varied portfolio of licensed insurance companies
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, regulators, and business associates, acting as a primary contact for many of these.
- Review and ensure client accounting records are maintained, financial statements and other financial reports are produced in a high quality and timely manner
- Manage audit processes and contribution to effective cash management
- Responsible for liaising with the regulator and registrar to submit regulatory filings and applications on behalf of clients
- Prepare, attend and present to key stakeholders at board meetings (sometimes requiring overseas travel)
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of our client companies, ensuring they are in compliance with internal and external controls and performance benchmarks
- Ensuring timely resolution of any client complaints
- Contribute to the sales strategy including conducting profitability analyses, maintaining key service provider relationships, and active collaborate on revenue generation efforts.
- Be a member of management team, responsible for oversight of a team of client service managers and account managers

About you
- A bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, accounting, finance, or in a related subject area
- An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification, such as a CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, supported by a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification
- A minimum of 5 years’ captive insurance management experience or a minimum of 10 years’ financial services industry experience
- Experience leading and managing teams (preferably within a matrix environment) within an operational service delivery or shared services environment, keen understanding of professional and industry standards/practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
- The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for new business development and building client relationships
- Ability to design and implement productivity and client service improvements
- Experience reviewing and understanding technical insurance documentation
