Associate Director - Climate and Nature Risk Sales Lead

Description
Accountable for Climate and nature risk sales in UK and EMEA. Direct sales and cross selling, account management, bid writing, and market insight.
Key Responsibilities
- £650k sales target annually 15% chargeability
- Guiding colleagues in proposal writing, leading bigger proposals
- Being independent in engaging with a wide variety of clients, often in senior roles within their business.
- Attending and leading client meetings, where necessary, for development of opportunities and project delivery.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Marketing C&N risk within Anthesis UK and outside to clients in the UK
- Contributing to Anthesis’ innovation and thought leadership around corporate action.

- At least 8 years’ experience in a relevant position within climate risk
- Degree in or equivalent in climate/nature risk.
- Post-graduate qualification is preferred
- Experience working with businesses
- Strong technical background in climate
- High attention to detail and accuracy and quality in all work
- Knowledge of climate-related impacts and dependencies for varying business sectors
- Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines as required.
- Assist in the preparation of implementation budgets and cost estimates.
- Receptive to new challenges
- Good time management and ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure business and project deadlines are met.
- Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions.
- Effective negotiation and persuading skills, able to manage and diffuse challenging situations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, ideally with experience in business development, project management and client management
- Ability to speak fluently and communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations
- Ability to speak more than one language is a plus (e.g. French, German, Spanish, Dutch)
- Flexibility, including the ability to travel throughout the UK and internationally
