Associate Director, Corporate Intelligence (Europe)

A leading strategic advisory and intelligence consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join its London-based team. This role focuses on commercial due diligence, strategic intelligence, transaction advisory, corporate investigations, and complex commercial projects across international markets. Working with senior business leaders, investors, and corporate stakeholders, you will provide critical insight into commercial risks, regulatory environments, market dynamics, and strategic decision-making.

Role Responsibilities: Leading complex commercial due diligence and strategic intelligence projects for corporate and investor clients. Advising clients on commercial risks associated with mergers, acquisitions, investments, and market entry strategies. Conducting in-depth research and analysis into companies, markets, industries, and senior stakeholders. Managing high-profile client engagements across multiple sectors and international jurisdictions. Delivering strategic insight on regulatory, political, reputational, and operational risks. Producing high-quality written reports, briefings, and presentations for senior executives and investors. Building and leveraging professional networks to gather market intelligence and commercial insight. Managing project timelines, client expectations, and deliverables across concurrent assignments. Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to client relationship growth. Mentoring junior team members and supporting the development of internal capabilities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on corporate strategy and transaction-related projects. Providing commercially focused recommendations to support critical business decisions.

Experience Required: Minimum 7 years’ experience within consulting, corporate strategy, commercial due diligence, strategic intelligence, finance, legal advisory, or related sectors. Strong commercial acumen with experience advising on corporate transactions, investments, or strategic projects. Excellent research, analytical, and investigative capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced environments.
