Location: Central London (Hybrid Working – 3 Days in Office) Salary: £62,000–£80,000 + Competitive Bonus Structure Level: Associate Director or Experienced Senior Account Director Ready for Promotion

An award-winning independent strategic communications consultancy is seeking an ambitious Associate Director – Corporate & Reputation Management to join its growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with senior leaders and high-profile organisations across a diverse portfolio spanning energy, technology, media, consumer, financial services and broader corporate sectors. The role offers the chance to lead strategic communications programmes, advise clients on complex reputation challenges and play a key role in shaping the future growth of a highly respected consultancy.

The Opportunity As an Associate Director, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, leading the development and delivery of high-impact corporate communications and reputation management programmes. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, drive exceptional client service and contribute to the consultancy's commercial success through business development and team leadership.

This role offers significant exposure to business-critical communications, stakeholder engagement, issues management and reputation advisory work across multiple sectors, making it ideal for an ambitious communications consultant looking to accelerate their career within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategic corporate communications and reputation management programmes. Provide senior counsel to clients on communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, reputation challenges and business-critical issues. Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and ensure consistently high levels of service delivery. Oversee and mentor account teams, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard and within agreed timelines. Drive innovative thinking and creative approaches to client challenges. Build and maintain influential networks across media, industry and stakeholder communities. Support business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for organic growth and new business opportunities. Develop, mentor and retain talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Act as a senior ambassador for the consultancy, contributing to its continued growth and market reputation.

Candidate Profile We are interested in speaking with experienced Associate Directors or established Senior Account Directors ready to take the next step into an Associate Director position.

You will bring: 6–8+ years' experience within a communications, corporate affairs, strategic communications or PR agency environment. Strong expertise in corporate communications and reputation management. Experience advising senior executives, leadership teams and corporate stakeholders. Proven ability to lead complex, integrated communications programmes across multiple sectors. Strong understanding of issues and crisis management. Experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Excellent media relations and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business growth. Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication abilities. A proactive, collaborative and entrepreneurial approach to client service and leadership.
