The Role
At Teneo, we provide expert cyber security strategy, risk and response advisory within a multi-disciplinary environment, working closely with our strategy and communications, risk advisory and restructuring teams across a globally connected platform.
We are seeking experienced Cyber Security Associate Directors to join our growing global cyber team. This role is suited to a cyber security professional with strong experience across cyber strategy, risk, response and recovery, including advising organisations through incidents and supporting remediation and longer-term transformation.
You will play a leading role in delivering client engagements, acting as a senior advisor to clients and working closely with Directors and Managing Directors to support clients through complex and high-stakes situations.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Director, you will take ownership of significant components of client engagements, lead teams and workstreams, and play an active role in client relationship management and business development.
- Lead the delivery of complex cyber strategy, risk, response and recovery engagements, owning workstreams and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Act as a key advisor to clients during cyber incidents and high-pressure situations, supporting decision-making, coordination and recovery efforts
- Drive cyber strategy, risk and resilience initiatives, including assessments, operating model design, and transformation roadmap development
- Develop and present clear, structured insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Lead, mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment

Key Skills & Experience
You will have a strong track record of delivering complex cyber security engagements and demonstrate growing credibility as a senior advisor, with the ability to bridge technical and strategic domains.
- Extensive experience across cyber strategy and risk and/or cyber response and recovery, with a track record of delivering complex engagements
- Proven ability to lead workstreams and manage teams across multi-disciplinary, cross-border engagements
- Expertise in one or more cyber domains such as data security, identity and access management, security operations or threat intelligence
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing and developing teams in fast-paced environments
