Associate Director - Forensic Disputes

Associate Director, Forensic Disputes – RSM UK

As one of the world’s largest networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, RSM delivers big ideas and premium service to help middle-market businesses thrive. Join a fast-growing firm with ambition: our goal is to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally. If you’re looking for a place to build a future and make an impact, this is it.

There has never been a more exciting time to join RSM’s digitally led Forensic practice. As this area continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Director to oversee, develop, and deliver a portfolio of disputes and Expert Witness assignments, while supporting the continued expansion of this ambitious team.

Our Forensic team provides specialist support across contentious matters, blending technical expertise with commercial insight. This role offers leadership across a range of high-impact areas, including:

  • Quantum and damages analysis
  • Valuations
  • SPA disputes
  • Business interruption and warranty claims
  • Litigation and mediation advisory support

Responsibilities

As Associate Director within the Disputes team, your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a client portfolio and managing disputes and expert accounting assignments from start to finish.
  • Overseeing client deliverables, ensuring high-quality output while managing risks, deadlines, budgets, and performance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, instructing lawyers, and senior stakeholders—representing RSM at client meetings and updates.
  • Driving business development through proposals, tender responses, networking, and nurturing new opportunities.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering effective team planning and resource utilisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
