Profile Summary
The Associate Director supports senior bankers in client outreach and origination while leading junior team members through the preparation of key transaction materials and execution workstreams. The role is hands-on across due diligence, negotiations, and documentation, and contributes to firm-wide marketing, pitches, and client relationship development within the European renewables sector.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Supporting Senior bankers in their outreach and origination efforts with existing and prospective clients
- Managing and overseeing junior resources responsible for the preparation of key transaction marketing materials (information memorandum, process letter, financial model etc.)
- Assisting in the co-ordination of due diligence activities. You will be hands-on across the entire execution process including coordinating workstreams with other advisers
- Advising and supporting clients in negotiation stages of key transactional documents such as sales and purchase agreements and shareholder agreements
- Drafting deal marketing documents as well as internal investment presentations and other client documentation where required
- Firm-wide marketing activities including drafting pitches and building and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
- At least 4 to 6 years of existing investment banking/consulting experience, preferably in the energy sector
- Education: top results from a leading university
- Leadership: ability to lead and coordinate a team of 2-4 junior bankers
- Motivated: ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment
- Maturity: ability to deal with senior industry counterparties
- Enterprising: high level of initiative and cultivation of relationships with senior sector peers
- Skills: excellent analytical skills with robust financial modelling and presentation experience (Microsoft excel and PowerPoint abilities)
- Languages: fluency in English and ideally another European language
