Golin Ketchum’s Data, Insight and Analytics team is growing.
We’re hiring two senior people to sit at the centre of how we measure, interpret and tell the story of the work we do for some of the world’s biggest brands. One role leans into analytics and performance, the other into insight and storytelling. Both are based in London, both look at the world globally, and both work across the Omnicom network.
Associate Director, Insight & Storytelling
You can read a dataset and find the story in it.
An expert in discovering compelling and fascinating insights that change what a client should do next, and building the report that makes them want to do it. You know your way around the data tools, but your real talent is what happens after the analysis, turning numbers into a recommendation, a narrative, a decision. You’ll be the bridge between the data and the work it should inspire.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you’ll do
- Turn analysis into insight, and insight into clear recommendations clients can act on.
- Build reports people actually want to read: sharp, surprising, and honest about what the data says and what it doesn’t.
- Connect data to comms and marketing strategy. You understand how a finding can turn into meaningful actions that will help guide a business forward.
- Go deep into categories and subjects, spotting emerging trends before they’re obvious and finding the angles others miss.
- Interrogate data in unconventional ways, combining sources to look at the world from a direction no one else thought to.
- Take genuinely complex subjects and make them clear without making them shallow, carrying a recommendation the whole way from what the data shows to what we’d do, and why.

What you’ll bring
- Solid analytical foundations. You can gather and work with data, paired with a clear instinct for strategic translation.
- A storyteller’s eye for the through-line in messy data, and the craft to make it compelling.
- A real understanding of communications and marketing, and how insight drives both.
- Curiosity that runs deep. You enjoy living in a subject until you understand it better than anyone in the room.
- Confidence presenting to audiences large, small and senior, and the craft to turn insight into PowerPoint that lands. You know the difference between a slide full of data and a slide that moves a room.
