Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Associate Director, Treatment Execution Lead (Tx EL) to join the Global HIV Medical Affairs team, with responsibility for Australia, Canada and Europe Mid-Size Markets (ACE MM).
This role ensures that regional needs shape global medical and commercialization strategies—and that global strategies enable successful regional execution. This individual serves as a critical bridge between Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and ACE MM region/affiliate teams, acting as both:
- The primary representative of the regional needs, priorities and insights at global level.
- The key enabler ensuring ACE MM markets receive the appropriate level of support, resources and strategic alignment from the GMA team.
The Tx EL plays a central role in advancing a "global with local" model, enhancing the relevance, impact, and execution of global strategies across diverse markets.
Core Responsibilities
1. Regional Representation & Strategic Influence
- Act as the primary advocate for ACE Mid-Size Markets within Global Medical Affairs and other cross-functional teams.
- Represent regional priorities, challenges, and unmet needs in global strategic discussions, focused on healthcare provider and patient perspectives within the HIV treatment landscape.
- Bring forward consolidated, high-quality medical insights to actively shape and influence global strategy, priorities, and decision-making.
- Ensure regional perspectives are systematically integrated into treatment global medical strategy, asset lifecycle plans and evidence generation priorities.
- Partner across Global Medical Affairs, affiliates and key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure ACE MM priorities are represented and inform enterprise-wide decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
