Associate Director, Medical Affairs
Associate Director, Medical Affairs (Immunology)
Location: Maidenhead, UK or Zurich, CH (Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week)
Reports to: Senior Director, Medical Affairs, Immunology

About the Role
As Associate Director, Medical Affairs (Immunology), you will get involved in the development of the medical affairs strategy for assigned products within Immunology, driving excellence across the post-launch product lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Director, Medical Affairs, this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners, both internal and external, to ensure effective medical and scientific communication, support evidence generation, and strengthen scientific engagement in global markets across the US and internationally.
This hybrid position operates across Maidenhead, UK or Zurich, Switzerland with 3 days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to medical affairs strategy for assigned Immunology portfolio, aligned with overall therapeutic area objectives
- Evaluate trends and therapeutic opportunities in collaboration with research and regional commercial organizations
- Execute strategies for scientific interactions with the medical community, including:
- Key opinion leaders
- Patient advocacy groups
- Support coordination of investigator-led studies and research collaborations
- Serve as a scientific consultant to marketing, commercial, and research teams, providing input for promotional and educational materials in relevant therapeutic areas
- Align fine-tuning efforts with global standards and practices within Medical Affairs

Requirements
- Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent preferred)
- Significant relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotherapeutic industry
- Proven experience interacting with commercial functions within the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Transplant and Immunology
- Proficiency in collaborating with internal and external think leaders
- Ability to drive influence across global markets
