Associate Director of Architecture
Associate Director – Industrial & Retail Architecture
London | International Architecture Practice
We’re working with a long-established international architecture practice with an excellent reputation for delivering large-scale projects globally. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire an Associate Director to join their London team and lead major industrial and big-box retail projects.
This is a senior role combining project leadership, client management, team development, and business growth.
The Role
You’ll lead large-scale industrial and retail schemes across all project stages, acting as the main client contact and overseeing delivery from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities
- Lead industrial and big-box retail projects across all RIBA stages
- Manage projects delivered through Design & Build contracts
- Build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Oversee project programmes, budgets, fees, and resourcing
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
- Monitor project performance and profitability
- Mentor junior team members and support team development
- Help drive efficient digital workflows, including Revit and emerging technologies

Requirements
- Qualified Architect
- Strong industrial/logistics and retail project experience
- Proven experience leading projects from concept to completion
- Strong knowledge of Design & Build delivery
- Excellent client-facing and leadership skills
- Strong REVIT capability
- Strong communication and organisational skills
