As a senior leader within Business Operations, you will help drive the University's evolving operating model through enhanced efficiency, service excellence, technology adoption, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
About The Role
You will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of estates and facilities management, including:
- Development and delivery of the University's Estates and Facilities Strategy.
- Leadership of estate development, capital programmes, and infrastructure investment.
- Management of campus facilities services, maintenance, compliance, and asset management.
- Delivery of sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives.
- Oversight of risk management, business continuity, and statutory compliance.
- Optimisation of space utilisation and support for commercial revenue generation.
- Development of high-performing multidisciplinary teams and service excellence across the estate.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for an accomplished estates leader with:
Essential Experience
- Significant senior leadership experience in Estates and Facilities Management.
- Proven delivery of major capital programmes and estate development projects.
- Demonstrable success developing and implementing estates strategies within large, complex organisations.
- Experience managing significant operational budgets, risks, and resources.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, compliance, and building maintenance legislation.
- Experience of leading organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Expertise in procurement, contract management, and supplier relationships.

You will work closely with senior academic and professional services leaders, commercial partners, contractors, regulators, and external stakeholders to ensure the University's estate continues to support Brunel's strategic ambitions.
