Associate Director of International Recruitment & Partnerships

At BIMM University, we're more than just an educational institution; we're a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing creativity and empowering students to reach their full potential. With campuses across the UK, Ireland, and Germany, we offer a diverse range of courses in modern music, performing arts, filmmaking, and creative technology. Our commitment to excellence in creative arts education sets us apart, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed in their chosen fields.

About The Role

You will shape and drive BIMM University’s international recruitment approach, focusing on growing the non-domestic student population. This pivotal role spans all campuses, requiring a targeted, insight-led strategy aligned with our academic and commercial goals.

Responsibilities for recruitment in Berlin and Dublin fall under this position. You will also lead cross-functional teams (UK and international) to meet recruitment targets.

Additionally, oversee a global network of partners and agents, ensuring high-profile relationships deliver consistent impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead international recruitment strategy aligned with the University’s growth plans
  • Develop Berlin and Dublin-specific recruitment approaches, tailored to local markets
  • Use market intelligence, competitor analysis, and internal data to drive recruitment decisions
  • Lead the International Recruitment team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive culture
  • Oversee international partnerships, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with institutional goals
  • Expand BIMM’s network by building new relationships with feeder institutions (schools, colleges, creative organisations)
  • Represent the University externally (e.g., BUILA, UUKi, British Council)
  • Collaborate closely with Campus Deans in Berlin and Dublin to ensure local relevance and impact
  • Work with Marketing and Admissions to streamline the applicant journey (from enquiry to enrolment)
  • Develop and present recruitment insights, identifying trends, risks, and areas for improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement in processes, systems, and recruitment methodologies

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key phrases (roles, expected behaviours) stand out, and section headings guide the reader naturally. Placing “Why BIMM University?” under the benefits reinforces its significance. Unnecessary line breaks and vague phrasing are streamlined into concise bullet points.
