Associate Sales Director - eCommerce (DTC) | London | Hybrid
Are you an experienced eCommerce leader with a passion for driving Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) growth? Our client, a global consumer brands business, is looking for an Associate Sales Director - eCommerce to lead the online strategy for a portfolio of internationally recognised lifestyle and consumer brands across the EMEA region.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of DTC strategy, lead a high-performing cross-functional team, and shape the future of digital commerce within a growing international organisation.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the Online Director, you will be responsible for defining and executing the Direct-to-Consumer strategy across multiple premium consumer brands throughout EMEA.
You'll lead a cross-functional eCommerce team spanning sales, merchandising, digital marketing, CRM, operations, SEO and technology, with responsibility for delivering ambitious revenue growth while creating best-in-class online customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the DTC strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Drive online sales performance and deliver against revenue and commercial targets.
- Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary eCommerce team.
- Own SEO strategy alongside agency partners to increase organic traffic and visibility.
- Develop CRM, retention and loyalty initiatives to maximise customer lifetime value.
- Partner with Finance and Operations on inventory forecasting and planning.
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing to optimise paid media performance.
- Evaluate new eCommerce technologies and platform enhancements.
- Continuously improve website performance, customer journey and conversion rates.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity across the EMEA market.

What We're Looking For
- 10 years' experience within digital commerce/eCommerce, ideally within consumer goods, retail, FMCG, lifestyle or similar B2C environments.
- Proven experience leading Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) strategy.
- Strong commercial mindset with ownership of revenue and online trading performance.
- Experience across multiple eCommerce functions including merchandising, customer experience, digital marketing, payments, analytics and omnichannel.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects.
- Understanding of web technologies and eCommerce implementation.
- Experience with Shopify and/or Magento.
- Knowledge of SEO, CRM and digital acquisition strategies.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent English is essential; additional European languages (particularly French) are advantageous.
- Full right to work in the UK.
