About the Role
As an Associate Director Programme Manager, you’ll be a strategic leader in programme delivery, ensuring governance, risk, and financial compliance while driving success. This is a hands-on leadership role, reporting to the Programme Leader and directly influencing key aspects of client commissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Programme Leader in embedding the strategic vision of the commission and inspiring the team to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Design and maintain robust management frameworks and controls to oversight the programme.
- Manage critical functions, including:
- Workstream leadership
- PMO coordination
- Change/risk management & reporting
- Independently lead smaller programmes, leveraging your PM accreditation in dynamic, high-performance environments.
- Establish and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Develop financial tracking and reporting processes to monitor programme success against budget.
- Define health and safety safeguards, ensuring compliance and implementation across the commission.
- Contribute to SOX controls (where applicable) to meet regulatory and corporate governance standards.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates with felt experience in large-scale real estate transformations and a proven ability to excel in:
- Portfolio-level programme management with a track record of delivering complex, high-value projects on time/budget.
- PM accreditation (e.g., PRINCE2, APM or Global Standard) with practical application experience.
- Leadership in governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement with documented success.
- Strong, inspirational communication—capable of collaborating with senior stakeholders and empowering diverse teams.
- Disciplined, results-driven mindset with real-world delivery experience.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
- A degree in construction, real estate, or facility management (or equivalent experience).
- Project/ Programme Management experience within a construction or real estate consultancy.
- Active membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, APM, CIOB) preferred or equivalent.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and teamwork abilities to run thriving teams.
- Exposure to SOX governance controls (an asset).
