Job Description

Shape the Future of Infusion Therapy Worldwide

At BD, we are advancing the world of health™ by developing innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. Within our International Infusion Platform, we drive the development, integration, and commercialization of infusion therapy systems, software, and services across global markets.

We are looking for a Program Leader – International Infusion to lead strategic product development programs delivered through external partners and distributors. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation, technology, quality, and commercialization, helping bring life-changing medical solutions to patients around the world.

Multi-location: Remote (UK or Switzerland)

What You'll Do

As Program Leader, you will be the driving force behind complex global programs, ensuring successful execution from development through commercialization.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver product development programs aligned with business objectives, timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Acting as the primary BD program lead for external development partners, distributors, and third-party organizations.
  • Building and managing integrated program plans, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and critical paths.
  • Driving collaboration across Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and R&D teams worldwide.
  • Ensuring successful integration of externally developed products into BD systems, processes, and commercial portfolios.
  • Managing governance processes, executive reviews, risk assessments, and leadership reporting.
  • Identifying and mitigating program risks while maintaining strong execution discipline and accountability.
  • Supporting strategic partnership initiatives and evaluating new external development opportunities to strengthen the infusion portfolio.

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivering programs on time, within scope, and in compliance with BD quality and regulatory standards.
  • Creating alignment across complex global organizations and external partners.
  • Building trusted, high-performing relationships with distributors, OEMs, and third-party development partners.
  • Driving informed decision-making through structured planning, risk management, and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Enabling seamless product integration and successful market launches.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience within the Medical Device, Healthcare Technology, or MedTech industry.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional programs in highly regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of medical device development processes and regulatory frameworks, including FDA, MDR, and ISO standards.
  • Experience working with external partners such as distributors, OEMs, contract manufacturers, or strategic development partners.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives within global matrix organizations.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across diverse internal and external teams.
