Are you an experienced Project Controls leader looking to shape the delivery of some of the UK's most complex infrastructure programmes?
I'm partnering with a leading consultancy that is continuing to invest in its Project Controls capability. As part of its growth strategy, it's seeking an Associate Director to lead the delivery of Project Controls services across a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure projects while helping to develop clients, teams, and future business opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious leader looking to combine technical excellence, client engagement, and business growth within a collaborative and highly respected consultancy.
The Role
As an Associate Director, you'll play a key role in leading Project Controls teams and advising clients on the successful delivery of major capital programmes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading multidisciplinary Project Controls teams across complex infrastructure programmes
- Providing strategic advice on project controls, governance, and performance management
- Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Overseeing project performance across cost, schedule, risk, and change
- Supporting business development, bids, and client growth
- Developing and mentoring Project Controls professionals
- Driving continuous improvement and best practice across project controls delivery

About You
We're keen to hear from experienced Project Controls leaders who can demonstrate:
- Leadership of Project Controls teams on major infrastructure or capital programmes
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Commercial awareness and the ability to develop long-term client relationships
- Experience across multiple Project Controls disciplines, including cost, planning, risk, and change
- A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams
Experience with Cost Management, Earned Value Management (EVM), and NEC contracts would be highly desirable, alongside a strong understanding of project governance and programme performance.
