About the Role
We are recruiting an Associate Director within our Edinburgh Project Controls Team. This role demands proven infrastructure experience to lead major programmes in Scotland.

Job Objectives
- Deliver Project Controls across major programmes in Scotland
- Lead the programme controls function, ensuring accuracy and consistency in:
- Plans
- Costs
- Safety
- Environment
- Performance reporting
- Efficient deployment of controls team resources
- Business development
- Other responsibilities include:
- Reviewing new project proposals/remits to develop realistic, resourced plans
- Identifying resourcing requirements and resolving issues with planning functions
- Delivering daily reporting on:
- Plans
- Costs
- Safety
- Environment
- Performance metrics (to Programme/Project Managers)
- Ensuring data standards for cost and performance systems are met via input by project teams
- Managing Investment Plan production while adhering to the Investment Competence Framework

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in:
- Performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning/scheduling functions (schedule development, control, analysis in both field and office)
- Experience within the infrastructure sector
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in:
- General PC operating systems and basic software (Microsoft Office Applications)
- Discipline-specific tools, including:
- Primavera (P6)
- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Engineering*)
- Procurement*)
- Contracts*)
- Construction*)
- Start-up work processes*)
