Associate Director - Strategy

Associate Director – Strategy & Advisory

£100,000 – £150,000 + performance bonus Location: London | Office-based (4 days in office)


Our client is a founder-led advisory firm specialising in high-growth B2B technology businesses and their investors. Collaborating closely with senior leadership teams and private equity stakeholders, the firm examines complex commercial and strategic challenges at the intersection of finance, technology, and data-driven insight. Their mission supports companies in scaling, refining strategies, and maximising long-term value.

With a strong international client base and increasing demand, the organisation is expanding its senior team and is seeking an Associate Director who excels in high-performance, high-impact environments where expectations are demanding and results drive decisions.


Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director will oversee high-value client engagements, from initial consultation through execution, working directly with CEOs, Chairs, and private equity investors to shape impactful strategic decisions and deliver measurable outcomes. Core duties include:

  • Leading advisory engagements from problem definition to final delivery, shaping strategic directives and implementation plans
  • Collaborating with senior executives and investors to navigate market challenges and refine product and corporate strategies
  • Ensuring high standards of accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency across multidisciplinary teams and client relationships
  • Handling demanding, high-stakes projects with agility while maintaining rigor and delivering measurable outcomes

Essential Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • 5–8+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, private equity advisory, or a related discipline
  • In-depth familiarity with fintech, financial software, data, or the cybersecurity sector
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to complex problem-solving
  • Confidence in high-impact presentations and influencing senior leadership
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to excel in high-pressure, high-visibility roles
