Role Overview
Interpath is seeking a highly motivated Associate Director for our Transaction Services team in London, with a focus on the Technology sector. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse portfolio of technology clients, including prominent private equity, venture capital, and corporate entities. As an Associate Director, you will have the opportunity to lead complex engagements, develop senior client relationships, and work closely with industry leaders in a dynamic and entrepreneurial Deal Advisory practice.

Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of the transaction lifecycle, leading both buy-side and sell-side assignments. You will play a pivotal role in delivering successful transactions by collaborating with our Corporate Finance and Debt Advisory specialists across the Interpath network. In addition, you will take a leadership role in developing our people, mentoring Managers, Associates, and Analysts, while contributing to the continued growth of our Technology sector offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and delivery of Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) reports.
- Evaluate Quality of Earnings to identify extraordinary income and costs that impact underlying earnings.
- Analyse and benchmark Net Working Capital (NWC) based on historical trends.
- Identify debt-like items through an in-depth review of balance sheets and off-balance-sheet arrangements.
- Critically assess target forecasts, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
- Lead client meetings and act as the primary contact for due diligence engagements.
- Build and strengthen client relationships while mentoring Managers, Associates, and Analysts.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of our Technology sector practice.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 4 years' experience in Transaction Services or another relevant field.
- Experience working on Technology transactions would be highly advantageous.
- Chartered Accountancy, or other similar professional qualification, preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and strong team orientation.
- Ability to lead multiple engagements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven record of managing senior client relationships.
- Experience supporting business development and originating opportunities is advantageous but not mandatory.
