Associate Electrical Engineer

The Role
As an Associate Electrical Engineer in our Dublin office, you'll provide technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed-use developments. You'll lead multidisciplinary project teams, build long-term client relationships, mentor engineers, and play a key role in developing both our people and our business. From concept through to construction and handover, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions that deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead the electrical discipline across multiple complex building services projects
- Oversee project delivery from concept design through construction and final handover
- Develop and review electrical design strategies, ensuring compliance with Irish and international standards
- Provide technical leadership, quality assurance and governance across project teams
- Manage client relationships, acting as the senior technical point of contact
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams
- Review contractor submissions, technical designs and installation methodologies
- Oversee project budgets, resource planning and commercial performance
- Drive innovation, value engineering and sustainable design solutions
- Lead site inspections, technical reviews and commissioning support
- Mentor and develop engineers across all levels of the business
- Support business development, proposals and strategic growth initiatives

What You'll Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- 8+ years' experience in electrical building services consultancy
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects from concept through delivery
- Strong technical knowledge of LV power, lighting, fire alarm, emergency systems, BMS, renewable technologies and wider building services
- Experience managing clients, programmes, budgets and project teams
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and industry-standard electrical design software
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
- Master's degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Experience across sectors including commercial, healthcare, residential, education, industrial or data centres
- Experience contributing to business development and winning new work
