Associate Electronics Engineer – Audio Technology
Location: High Wycombe / Hybrid Term: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 pa (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits
The Role
We are seeking an electronics engineer with a passion for music technology to join our interfaces team.
You’ll bring enthusiasm, a solid academic knowledge base, and a drive to keep learning—we’ll help you put that knowledge into practice, designing class-leading products used by millions of musicians.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Product Owners to define features, requirements, and system-level designs.
- Selecting key technologies and components, producing schematics, and designing PCBs.
- Planning and delivering work on schedule, leveraging analytical and estimation skills, and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Designing and debugging hardware, requiring a strong foundation in systematic analysis, measurement, and fault-finding.
As an Associate Engineer, you’ll be embedded within a technically strong and committed engineering team, working in a friendly, social, and inclusive environment where music and music tech sit at the heart of everything we do.
You’ll learn to create high-performance, cost-optimised, and reliable hardware that can be manufactured efficiently at scale. As your experience grows, you’ll take on more responsibility, technical ownership, and career development opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
While you’ll primarily focus on hardware design, this could be a great opportunity if you’re relatively new to audio technology—so long as you can demonstrate your design skills through academic or personal projects.
We support flexible working, but due to the hands-on nature of the role, regular office visits to High Wycombe will be required.
