Overview
We’re looking for someone with a passion for equity investing and experience in either equity fund manager research or direct equity investing to join Gallagher’s Equity Manager Research team. This is your chance to work with a high-conviction, independent research team that identifies, selects, and monitors equity fund managers globally. You’ll help us support a diverse range of clients while shaping the future of equity research.

We welcome applications from candidates with at least two years’ experience in equity manager research or similar equity investment roles.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Contribute to research on a range of equity strategies and managers.
- Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative due diligence.
- Monitor fund managers and form clear investment views.
- Share your insights in meetings and contribute to portfolio discussions.
- Work on bespoke client projects, including manager selection and portfolio reviews.
- Help shape Gallagher’s equity research framework and house views.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have experience in equity fund manager research or direct equity investing.
- Are numerate and detail oriented.
- Take initiative and feel confident expressing your views.
- Enjoy being busy; producing a consistent volume of high-quality work, sometimes to deadlines.
- Have solid experience of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Are well organised and efficient.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
We’re especially keen to hear from candidates who bring diverse experiences and perspectives, even if you don’t meet every traditional criterion.
