Associate Family Solicitor (3–5 PQE) – Buckinghamshire – Up to £75,000 + Benefits
A highly regarded full-service regional law firm with a strong Thames Valley presence is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor / Associate in Buckinghamshire to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Legal 500-recognised practice, advising a high-quality client base on complex and sensitive matters.
You will work closely with a highly experienced Family Partner as part of a close-knit team, receiving hands-on mentoring and structured training across all key areas of family law. You will gain exposure to HNW individuals, entrepreneurs and private clients, with genuine scope for progression in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role:
- Managing your own caseload of privately funded family matters with supervision
- Advising on divorce, financial remedy and private children work
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex, high-value and HNW cases
- Drafting court documents, applications and client correspondence
- Representing clients at hearings and liaising with counsel where required
- Building strong and lasting client relationships
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Working collaboratively within a well-established multi-office team

The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with up to 5 years PQE in family law
- Experience handling privately funded family matters
- Strong technical knowledge of divorce and financial remedy work
- Confident advocate or keen to develop advocacy experience
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Commercially aware with a professional and empathetic approach
- Ambitious with a desire to progress within a growing team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
