Overview

We’re looking for an Associate Field Services Technician to join our office in Leicester, UK. This is a full-time position. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing operations.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Technician to join our team in Leicester, UK. In this role, you will be the go-to person for preparing essential equipment for new hires, handling break/fix issues, and ensuring our team members are fully equipped to succeed. If you are passionate about IT and enjoy a mix of technical troubleshooting and physical hardware management, we want to hear from you.

This role is perfect for an IT professional with at least one year of experience who is comfortable with both remote support and the physical side of IT operations. You will play a key role in our European team, ensuring that as we grow, our employees have the hardware and support they need from day one. You will be responsible for preparing laptops, managing equipment shipping, and assisting with general IT troubleshooting. Additionally, you will gain exposure to acquisition integration projects as our business expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and configure new hardware (laptops/PCs) for incoming staff members.
  • Manage the physical onboarding process, including shipping equipment to new hires.
  • Provide break/fix support, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing equipment replacements to minimize downtime.
  • Contribute to acquisition integration tasks as required by the wider EU team.
  • Build and maintain a shared knowledge base for common problem resolutions.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for desktop and enterprise applications (printing, email, network connectivity, and remote access).
  • Apply technical standards and document processes to ensure high-quality service.
  • Manage assigned project tasks by prioritizing and tracking deliverables.
  • Travel as required to support team needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
