Finance Associate (2–6 PQE) | Elite US Firm | London
An elite US law firm is seeking a talented Finance Associate (2–6 PQE) to join its highly regarded London finance practice.
The team advises a sophisticated client base of private credit funds, alternative capital providers, and financial institutions on complex cross-border financing transactions. Associates benefit from direct client exposure, lean deal teams, and working alongside market-leading partners on some of the most innovative transactions in the market.
The Role
You will work across a broad range of financing matters, including:
- Direct lending transactions
- Private credit and capital solutions mandates
- Leveraged and acquisition finance
- Special situations financings
- Syndicated lending
- Structured finance transactions

The practice is particularly active in advising creditors and capital providers on complex UK and international transactions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Be England & Wales qualified (or equivalent) with 1–6 years' PQE
- Have strong finance experience gained at a leading international, US, or City law firm
- Possess solid creditor-side finance experience
- Have experience advising lenders, direct lenders, private credit funds, or other capital providers
- Exposure to private credit and/or capital solutions transactions is desirable, otherwise a strong interest in the area
- Demonstrate excellent technical skills and strong academic credentials
