Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting & Period-End Close

    • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
    • Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP requirements where applicable.
    • Maintain strong financial controls and governance.
  • Statutory, Tax & Regulatory Compliance

    • Lead statutory audit, tax audit, and regulatory compliance activities.
    • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
    • Oversee GST, TDS, corporate tax, and transfer pricing support.
    • Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance.
  • Financial Reporting & Governance

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
    • Perform detailed balance sheet reviews and account substantiation.
    • Drive governance around accounting policies and controls.
  • GCC Accounting & Controllership

    • Manage intercompany accounting and cross-border transactions.
    • Support transfer pricing and global reporting requirements.
    • Partner with global controllership teams.
  • Partnering & Stakeholder Management

    • Partner with Engineering Services, IT Services, HR, Procurement, and Operations.
    • Advise leadership on accounting, compliance, governance, and controllership matters.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across India, the US, and Europe.

  • Digital Transformation, Automation & Process Excellence
    • Drive finance process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with business and technology teams to support digital transformation programs.
    • Leverage ERP capabilities and reporting tools to improve efficiency, controls, and data quality.
    • Lead internal audits, statutory audits, and compliance reviews.
    • Implement best practices in accounting and financial controls.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified from ICAI.
  • 7-10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in multinational organizations, GCCs, Shared Services, Engineering Services, IT Services, Technology, or Consulting sectors preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, IFRS, and exposure to US GAAP.
  • Deep understanding of statutory audits, tax audits, GST, TDS, corporate taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred) or equivalent enterprise ERP systems.
  • Strong ERP controls, system governance, and process automation experience.
  • Exposure to digital finance transformation initiatives, workflow automation, and reporting optimization.

Leadership Competencies

  • Strong ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
