About the opportunity:

A rare and exciting opportunity to join a buyside firm as part of the small and meritocratic team at Melford Capital Advisers. The role has been created to support the finance team following significant growth in the business. Whilst this role will predominantly be supporting the finance function, the small and collaborative nature of the team will mean that you will be involved in all areas of the business from investment structuring and asset management to reporting and financial modelling.

As an Associate, your role will be responsible for:

· Supporting the team with financial analysis pursuant to acquisitions and disposals · Supporting the team with debt financings and associated reporting obligations · Maintaining financial models for investments and funds · Supporting the team with the quarterly reporting cycle to investors · Managing and maintaining strong relationships with service providers including fund administrators, accountants and tax advisers · Review of valuation statements and workings · Responding to investor queries · Preparation of fund marketing materials and quarterly investor reports · Other ad hoc duties relating to general administration

About you:

· Strong attention to detail, numeracy, written English, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn · Experience in a finance role not essential, but you will be required to demonstrate why your skillset is suitable for this role · Good understanding of office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
