This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer to develop their skills while contributing to one of the world's most iconic FPS franchises. Working alongside experienced Gameplay Designers and a multidisciplinary team, playing a meaningful role in bringing our shared vision to life.
What You'll Do
- You will report directly into the Gameplay Design Director
- Work predominantly within the Frostbite game engine, with expectation to build understanding and competency using multiple systems, tools and workflows to deliver gameplay experiences that achieve desired project goals
- Support with the implementation and tweaking of gameplay systems to meet requirements
- Work closely with multiple disciplines on a day-to-day basis, from Technical Designers and Software Engineers, to Level Designers, Narrative Designers, Character Artists and more
What We're Looking For
- Knowledgeable about FPS games / the Battlefield franchise
- Passion for making meaningful player experiences through gameplay
- Experience creating games as part of a team (professional, personal, or during university)
- Demonstrable experience of implementing gameplay systems and game balancing in game engines (such as Unreal or Unity)
- Foundational knowledge of game design theories and methodologies
- Professional experience beneficial, but not essential
