In-House General Counsel (Legal Affairs Manager) – Travel Tech API Infrastructure

About the Role
This versatile generalist position requires a ** Senior Legal professional** to support all legal aspects across Nuitée’s business—from SaaS, contracts, compliance, and litigation to corporate governance and high-growth scaling.
As a trusted, embedded legal advisor, you’ll collaborate with commercial, product, finance, ops, engineering, and cross-jurisdictional teams globally.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate & Commercial
- Draft, review, and negotiate:
- Technology, SaaS, and API partnership agreements
- Distribution contracts
- Vendor relationships, NDAs, and reseller arrangements
- Support:
- Corporate transactions, M&A due diligence, fundraisings

- Manage corporate governance, subsidiary compliance, & board documentation across global jurisdictions
- Build and maintain:
- Contract templates and approval workflows
- Legal playbooks for tech-driven efficiency

Litigation & Disputes
- Handle pre-litigation disputes and strategize early resolutions
- Instruct and rope external counsel on litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings
- Support:
- Legal holds and e-discovery processes
- Case monitoring
- Advise on litigation risk, commercial disputes, and tech-related claims
General Legal Support
- Provide law on demand:
- For product, engineering, HR, and finance teams (across legal issues)
- Ensure compliance with:
- Data protection (GDPR, CCPA, and multi-jurisdictional frameworks)
- Monitor evolving regulations in AI, payments, and platform liability—advising the business on emerging risks
- Improve legal operations by:
- Streamlining processes
- Developing self-service tools for cross-functional teams (helping legal scale efficiently)
Qualifications
✔ JD or equivalent legal qualification ✔ Active bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction ✔ 5-10 years of hands-on legal experience, ideally in combinations of:
- Tech legal matters
- In-house or laboratory воды (in-house technology)
- Generalist environments ✔ Deep understanding of SaaS, commercial & tech agreements, preferably in a platform/B2B context ✔ Litigation/dispute resolution experience (but not strictly required if backed by strong corporate & commercial background) ✔ Strong GDPR/data privacy grounding + pref able multi-jurisdictional exposure ✔ Comfortable as a fast-moving, high-impact generalist in an ambitious startup-cum-scaler ✔ Exceptional bias with ships ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable business advice ✔ Outstanding communication to bridge diverse, international stakeholders
