Location: Exeter
Salary: GBP55,000 : GBP70,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Geoenvironmental Consultant looking to take the next step into a leadership position with a respected specialised environmental consultancy?
We are seeking an Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing Exeter office. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing the geoenvironmental team, managing a diverse portfolio of projects, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development within a collaborative and supportive environment.
You'll work on a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure and regeneration sectors, providing technical expertise from initial site investigation through to remediation and project delivery.
The Role
- Lead and manage geoenvironmental projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Ground Investigations and Contaminated Land Risk Assessments.
- Design and supervise site investigations and remediation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare fee proposals and support business development activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high technical standard.
- Work closely with geotechnical, engineering and environmental teams on multidisciplinary projects.

Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience within geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of contaminated land legislation and risk assessment.
- Experience managing projects and leading teams.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
