We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Asset Management business in the role of Associate Group Relationship Manager (Private Bank), where you’ll be the day-to-day lead for our UK & CIIOM Private Bank relationship—making sure our investment capabilities are front and centre, flows are growing, and existing assets are retained. You’ll bring market insight, commercial drive and confident presentation skills to keep Private Bank stakeholders up to date on strategy and product developments, spot new opportunities, and help position Asset Management as a core proposition for Private Bank clients.

In this role you’ll:

  • Own and develop the relationship with Private Bank (PB) across UK & CIIOM, driving engagement and advocacy for AM’s products and services.
  • Deliver against Assets Under Management (AUM) growth objectives, including gross/net sales and revenue plans, supporting wider Group strategy.
  • Keep PB Heads, Investment Counsellors, Relationship Managers and support teams fully informed on investment strategy and product changes, ensuring accurate representation.
  • Lead and facilitate high-impact presentations (including partnering with Product Managers/Specialists) with energy, clarity and commercial relevance.
  • Field investment and service-related queries, helping PB teams translate investment solutions into client outcomes.
  • Identify and progress new business opportunities, using strong market and competitor knowledge to shape conversations and priorities.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Successful relationship management track record, within Asset Management, Private Banking, Wealth Management or Wholesale/Institutional channels.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Asset Management investment capabilities with the ability and confidence to showcase these capabilities to PB stakeholders in a collaborative manner.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—able to explain how products are constructed and why they matter to clients.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, asset classes and investment performance across different market conditions; awareness of competitor landscape.
  • Self-starter mindset—able to operate independently and assertively while collaborating across teams.
  • Investment qualifications such as CFA, Investment Management Certificate or CISI Level 4 (or be in the process of completing).
