Associate – NHS Resolution EL/PL Matters

About the Role

Kennedys is seeking an Associate to join our renowned Healthcare Team, based in our Birmingham office. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on NHS Resolution EL/PL (Employers’ Liability & Professional Indemnity) matters and become part of our dedicated and high-performing team.

Team Overview

The Healthcare division at Kennedys provides specialised legal services to:

  • NHS Resolution
  • NHS Trusts
  • Medical malpractice insurers for private hospitals, clinics, and practitioners

We seek applicants with:

  • 1-3 years’ qualified legal experience (with relevant EL/PL exposure)
  • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Litigation experience in Employment Law (EL) and Professional Liability (PL)
  • The ability to manage and progress an independent EL/PL caseload
