Role description:
Play a key role delivering tech sector mega-projects.
We are looking for an experienced High Voltage (HV) Electrical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in delivering one of our biggest data centre construction projects.
You can be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to Finland
Role accountabilities:
You’ll be responsible for managing the HV electrical packages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out/fit-up.
Day-to-day this includes but is not limited to:
Pre-construction
Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget Supporting Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations Supporting contract negotiations Assisting the client and the Client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of all Owner-direct vendors and consultants

Construction
Managing the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground Coordinating Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase Working with the Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking Liaising with the Client’s schedule management team to provide Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis
Close out/Fit up
Initiating close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance Establishing close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller. Collect and track receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc. Assisting with City and/or other Authority final inspections and occupancy process. Assisting the Client in scheduling, coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors, consultants.
Qualifications & Experience:

An in-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques. Experience delivering HV packages Ability to manage technical disciplines. Experience working on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds, would be advantageous Ability to commit to significant international travel Familiar with local legislation (Finland)
