Associate, Institutional Sales & Client Services (M/W/D)

Dimensional, a global asset manager with roughly $1 trillion in assets under management, is excited to offer a talented individual a new opportunity to join our rapidly expanding team in the heart of Munich.

The Associate will become part of the Global Client Group (GCG), which is Dimensional’s distribution arm comprising of sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are a testament to the value provided to our clients.

Reporting to the Head of Client Relationship Group, the role of the Associate is to support Dimensional’s institutional business development in the DACH region. Associates across the Global Client Group provide relationship management and analytical analysis in helping to grow the existing client panel and develop new business opportunities for Dimensional.

The individual will be expected to demonstrate their interest in getting to know Dimensional’s client service and business development efforts. In return, you will receive best-in-class on-the-job training across multiple skills and disciplines and be able to collaborate and contribute to a team-based and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on Dimensional’s evidence-based investment approach and its implementation across strategies and vehicle types (including funds, active ETFs, and separate accounts).
  • Become an integral part of the Client Relationship Group and support the institutional sales team in all client service-related aspects.
  • Prepare and manage presentations and client materials on Dimensional’s strategies, research, asset allocation, ESG, and other investment topics.
  • Oversee and coordinate regular client reporting and answer related questions with support from internal subject matter experts.
  • Maintain accurate client records using our advanced CRM system.
  • Undertake a range of projects to support sales and client relationship efforts, such as researching market segments or prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our Investment, Marketing, and Events teams, providing our clients with a true Dimensional 360™ experience.
  • Build relationships with colleagues across the Global Client Group and other internal departments, both locally and in our other global offices.
  • Over the long term, develop and take over own client relationships.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent German language skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Fluency in English is also required.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline is required.
  • Robust experience working in the investment or asset management industry or related experience.
  • Solid understanding of public equity markets. Knowledge of fixed income markets is a plus.
  • Experience with separate accounts and KVGs is a plus.
  • Excellent process management skills, handling different tasks in parallel.
  • High attention to detail and comfortable working independently.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to articulate investment concepts to a variety of audience types.
  • An ability to develop and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders, our clients, and senior managers.
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Der bzw. die Associate wird Teil der Global Client Group (GCG) – Dimensionals Vertriebseinheit, die verschiedene Vertriebskanäle für eine vielfältige Kundschaft umfasst. Indem wir den Kunden in den Mittelpunkt stellen, verfolgen wir das Ziel, die Art und Weise, wie die Welt investiert, grundlegend zu verändern. Unsere Lösungen sind ein Beleg für den Mehrwert, den wir unseren Kunden bieten.

In direkter Berichtslinie an den Head of Client Relationship Group besteht die Aufgabe des bzw. der Associate darin, Dimensionals institutionelle Geschäftsentwicklung in der DACH-Region zu unterstützen. Associates innerhalb der Global Client Group übernehmen das Relationship Management sowie analytische Aufgaben und tragen dazu bei, den bestehenden Kundenstamm auszubauen und neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten für Dimensional zu erschließen.

Von dem bzw. der Kandidat/in wird erwartet, ein ausgeprägtes Interesse an Dimensionals Kundenservice und Geschäftsentwicklung zu zeigen. Im Gegenzug erhalten Sie eine erstklassige Einarbeitung über verschiedene Fähigkeiten und Fachbereiche hinweg und können in einem teamorientierten und inklusiven Umfeld mitwirken und einen wertvollen Beitrag leisten.

Aufgaben

  • Sie werden zum Experten für Dimensionals evidenzbasierten Investmentansatz und dessen Umsetzung über verschiedene Strategien und Anlagevehikel hinweg (einschließlich Fonds, aktiver ETFs und Separate Accounts).
  • Sie werden ein integraler Bestandteil der Client Relationship Group und unterstützen das institutionelle Vertriebsteam in allen Belangen des Kundenservice.
  • Sie erstellen und verwalten Präsentationen und Kundenunterlagen zu Dimensionals Strategien, Research, Asset Allocation, ESG und weiteren Investmentthemen.
  • Sie steuern und koordinieren das regelmäßige Kundenreporting und beantworten – mit Unterstützung interner Fachexperten – damit verbundene Fragen.
  • Sie pflegen präzise Kundendaten in unserem modernen CRM-System.
  • Sie übernehmen verschiedene Projekte zur Unterstützung der Vertriebs- und Kundenbeziehungsaktivitäten, etwa die Analyse von Marktsegmenten oder potenziellen Kunden.
  • Sie arbeiten mit Kollegen aus den Bereichen Investment, Marketing und Events zusammen und bieten unseren Kunden so ein echtes Dimensional 360™-Erlebnis.
  • Sie bauen Beziehungen zu Kollegen innerhalb der Global Client Group sowie zu anderen internen Abteilungen auf – sowohl lokal als auch in unseren weiteren globalen Niederlassungen.
  • Langfristig entwickeln und übernehmen Sie eigene Kundenbeziehungen.

Anforderungen

  • Deutschkenntnisse auf muttersprachlichem oder verhandlungssicherem Niveau in Wort und Schrift sind zwingend erforderlich. Fließende Englischkenntnisse werden ebenfalls vorausgesetzt.
  • Ein Bachelor-Abschluss oder eine gleichwertige Qualifikation in einem relevanten Fachgebiet ist erforderlich.
  • Fundierte Berufserfahrung in der Investment- oder Asset-Management-Branche oder in einem verwandten Bereich.
  • Solides Verständnis der öffentlichen Aktienmärkte. Kenntnisse der Anleihenmärkte sind von Vorteil.
  • Erfahrung mit Separate Accounts und KVGs ist von Vorteil.
  • Ausgezeichnete Fähigkeiten im Prozessmanagement sowie in der parallelen Bearbeitung verschiedener Aufgaben.
  • Hohe Sorgfalt und die Fähigkeit, selbstständig zu arbeiten.
  • Ausgezeichnete analytische, zwischenmenschliche sowie mündliche und schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, um Investmentkonzepte gegenüber unterschiedlichen Zielgruppen verständlich zu vermitteln.
  • Die Fähigkeit, Beziehungen zu internen Stakeholdern, unseren Kunden und Führungskräften aufzubauen und zu pflegen.
  • Solide Excel- und PowerPoint-Kenntnisse.
