Job Description

Job Purpose

To work in conjunction with the Investment Management team to build and develop trusted relationships with clients, providing wide-ranging support and assistance with the management of client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • To look after and support client needs
  • To assist with the management of client portfolios including dealing, in line with your competency status
  • To assist in preparing for client review meetings and provide support as required
  • To undertake basic analysis as required
  • To assist with presentations, investment proposals and pitches as required
  • Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times and in line with Group policy
  • To strive for no complaints and where they are received ensure that they are raised with the Client Resolution team in a timely fashion and assist in bringing them to a satisfactory resolution

Investment Research – Sector Specialist (where appropriate)

  • Required to work as part of a team focussing on direct equity or collective sector analysis to support the firm’s wider Investment Process needs
  • Understand the sector, providing appropriate recommendations, based on a wide range of resources
  • Actively participate in regular meetings, taking ownership of actions, and working in conjunction with other sector specialists
  • Construct materials as determined within the sector teams to support analysis and communication to Investment Managers

Qualifications

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Holds a minimum Level 4 qualification CISI or equivalent
  • Ability to deal with new and existing clients
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and investment market
  • Experience of working within an investment management environment
  • A strong ethic of client and customer service
  • Ability to work well in pressurised environment and prioritise work
  • Excellent communication skills both
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills
