Senior Medical Education & Customer Training Specialist – Field Based UK&I
About the Role

Your Responsibilities
Program Design & Delivery
- Plan, execute, and refine surgeon and sales training programs closely tied to business priorities
- Identify educational gaps and develop targeted training solutions for customer and commercial needs
- Track and report training activity, including metrics like surgeons trained and program utilisation rates
Key Opinion Leader Management
- Identify, recruit, and govern a robust network of clinical opinion leaders (KOLs)—contract management included
- Activate KOLs across:
- Education programs
- Medical congresses
- Laboratories
- Product launches

Event Strategy & Execution
- Plan and deliver congresses, workshops, laboratories, and customer events
- Oversee on-site logistics to ensure high-quality participant experiences
- Manage out-of-theatre presence, including associated logistics for optimal delivery
- Prioritise high-impact education events and activities within tight budgets
Content & Resource Management
- Develop, maintain and update training materials and educational content for both internal and external audiences
- Manage demo equipment, kits, and facilities to support training, events, and sales activities
- Provide clinical training and product presentations when needed
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Sales in field engagements and education initiatives
- Support clinical trials, evaluations, and evidence generation through education and logistic support
- Lead product launches, sales training, and congress promotion activities
Measurement & Improvement
- Track performance metrics for education programs and KOL activation
- Use insights to optimise future execution and drive continuous improvement
- Drive customer activation through events to maximise education impact and adoption

Required
- Minimum three years’ experience in medical devices, healthcare, or medical education
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in:
- A scientific discipline
- Medical studies
- Business or related field
- Proven experience managing event or training programs for customer-facing audiences
Preferred
- Hands-on experience working with healthcare professionals and clinical faculty
- Experience in pre-launch support using education initiatives
- Skills in vendor or third-party education partner management
- Exposure to budget analysis and program analytics
Additional Information
- Travel requirement: Expected for on-site education programs and stakeholder engagement
- Driver’s license: Mandatory for roles requiring regular midhospital travel
