Reports to Medical Writer/Senior Medical Writer

Job Summary

This is a great opportunity to enter the world of medical communications! A Life Sciences degree and a passion for healthcare is a good starting point, no previous writing experience is necessary.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

You will love this role if you:

  • Have a strong scientific background and can communicate complex scientific ideas in an accurate and innovative way
  • Are a proactive and confident individual looking for a dynamic role involving face-to-face interaction with clients and scientific experts

You Will Be a Success If You

  • Can quickly pick up on new therapy areas and disseminate information in a clear and accurate manner
  • Can work under pressure, independently and as part of a team, and deliver high-quality work
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact appropriately with key experts, negotiate on content and make constructive suggestions

Experience, Skills, And Qualifications

  • Degree Educated within a scientific discipline (or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret and fulfil client briefs in a creative and technically accurate manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness / ability to learn and apply new skills and new scientific / therapeutic / regulatory information
  • Adaptability / flexibility
  • Good project management skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritise; excellent time management skills
