As our Associate Merchandiser (Shoes & Sandals), you’ll be part of the Brand team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Merchandiser (Shoes & Sandals). You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE
The Associate Merchandiser supports the planning, execution, and optimisation of Dr. Martens’ global product assortment across key categories. This role is integral to ensuring that the product offer is consumer-centric, commercially robust, and aligned with the brand’s growth ambitions. Working closely with Marketplace Merchandising, Product Management, Finance, Brand, and Marketplace & GTM teams, the Associate Merchandiser helps deliver a compelling, globally consistent product offer that drives profitable growth and strengthens brand equity.

Core Accountabilities
As our Associate Merchandiser (Shoes & Sandals), you will be responsible for:
Supporting development and management of the global product assortment, balancing icons, franchises and newness to drive growth and profitability across regions and channels. Analysing sales data, market trends and consumer insights to inform range architecture, lifecycle management and local market adaptations. Contributing to seasonal planning, ensuring alignment with commercial targets, strategic priorities and integrated go-to-market execution. Collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product, Brand and Marketplace teams to track performance, optimise sell-through and manage inventory health. Championing data-driven tools and continuous improvement, strengthening merchandising processes, decision-making and team capability.
Key Skills & Capabilities
Put simply, the key things we’re looking for are:
Strong understanding of merchandising fundamentals, including range planning, product lifecycle management and consumer-focused decision-making. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends and insights to inform product and assortment strategies. Collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally in matrixed, global organisations. Clear and confident communicator, able to present ideas, insights and data effectively to stakeholders. Digitally and data fluent, with strong attention to detail, adaptability in fast-paced environments and proficiency in Excel and analytics tools.
