Salary for this role is circa £100,000-£130,000 fixed + circa 50% bonus + market leading benefits
A leading international real estate investment manager is seeking an Associate to join its Asset Management team.
This is a highly commercial role focused on driving operational performance and value creation across a portfolio of operational real estate assets. Working closely with operators and internal investment teams, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building business cases and taking ownership of initiatives that improve asset performance over the long term.
This is not a reporting-focused asset management role. The firm are looking for individuals who enjoy taking ownership, influencing stakeholders and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Drive asset-level business plans focused on operational performance and long-term value creation.
- Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Build financial models to evaluate business plans, capital expenditure initiatives and strategic decisions.
- Work directly with operating partners to improve revenue, cost efficiency and overall asset performance.
- Prepare annual business plans, budgets and investment recommendations.
- Present analysis and strategic recommendations to senior internal stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Investments, Finance, Capital Projects and Operations teams.
- Visit assets regularly to understand operational performance first-hand and identify improvement opportunities.

- Experience may come from operational real estate, living sectors, hospitality, student accommodation, multifamily, healthcare, hotels or other asset classes where operational performance drives investment returns.

Requirements
- Experience in real estate asset management, investments, lending, investment banking or a related field.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Experience building business plans, analysing investments and supporting strategic decision making.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and operate independently.
