About Jefferies Private Financing Solutions
Jefferies’ Private Financing Solutions (PFS) team provides bespoke capital solutions to clients across sectors and geographies. The team advises on and arranges private credit, structured equity, hybrid capital, and other customized financing solutions for both public and private companies, financial sponsors, and high-growth businesses. PFS works closely with Jefferies’ sector and product groups globally, delivering tailored financing outcomes in complex or fast-moving market environments.
Role Overview
As an Associate in the Private Financing Solutions team, you will play a key role in supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of private credit and private capital transactions. You will collaborate with senior bankers, institutional investors, and internal partners to deliver tailored financing solutions that meet the strategic needs of Jefferies’ clients.
This position requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a commercial mindset, along with the ability to operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Execution & Structuring
- Support all stages of private financing transactions, including due diligence, modelling, structuring, documentation, and investor engagement.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including leveraged financing, structured equity, and cash flow analyses.
- Prepare investment materials such as confidential information memoranda, lender presentations, and internal committee decks.
- Assist in negotiating key terms with clients, lenders, and advisors.
Origination & Market Work
- Conduct market research, peer benchmarking, and capital markets analysis to identify financing opportunities.
- Help prepare client-facing pitch materials for prospective mandates across private credit, hybrid capital, and minority equity solutions.
- Develop relationships with private credit funds, institutional investors, and other capital providers.

Client & Investor Interaction
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients during transaction processes.
- Coordinate investor outreach, manage Q&A processes, and ensure timely delivery of diligence information.
- Work closely with Jefferies’ sector teams to deliver integrated advisory and financing solutions.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with legal, compliance, and risk teams to manage transaction approvals and execution workflows.
- Support senior bankers in strategic initiatives, team development, and pipeline management.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking (M&A), private credit, corporate banking, or a related field.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with the ability to build complex capital structures.
- Solid understanding of private credit markets, institutional investor dynamics, and capital structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, client-ready materials.
- Proven project management capabilities and ability to handle multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset, high integrity, and strong commercial intuition.
