Product Manager – Energy Data & Analytics

About Vortexa

Vortexa was founded to bridge a major information gap in the energy industry. By leveraging vast amounts of satellite data and pioneering AI, we provide real-time insights into global seaborne energy flows, enhancing market transparency and efficiency for traders, analysts, and key stakeholders worldwide.

The Challenge

Vortexa processes thousands of data points per second from multiple heterogeneous sources, handling terabytes of data in real time. Key complexities include:

  • Running complex AI/ML models for forecasting.
  • Integrating predictive outputs into a hybrid, human-machine refining process.
  • Delivering findings via a low-latency SaaS platform for global energy market participants.

Our singular focus is ensuring the right questions are asked—with maximum impact—to drive unparalleled customer satisfaction.

About the Role

Vortexa’s Product Management team drives value through collaborative discovery and execution. Responsibilities include aligning stakeholders on product direction, defining clear roadmaps and KPIs, and ensuring deliverables meet commercial and technical standards. This role will help build the next-generation intuitive energy analytics platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product roadmap for flow and onshore inventory products (crude/refined), in line with the overarching vision and strategy.
  • Identify high-priority customer pain points, aligning product efforts with business objectives via AI-driven insights (e.g., market competition, customer feedback).
  • Accelerate product development by blending quantitative analytics with qualitative input (Aha!, RICE Scoring, GIST models). Engage in rapid prototyping with stakeholders.
  • Execute discovery sessions, usability tests, and SME/prospect feedback prior to launch.
  • Track KPIs for success, diagnosing and mitigating misses to optimise outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: work with engineering, tech PMs, design, marketing and customer success—ensuring alignment, deadlines and marketable releases.
  • Define actionable requirements and priorities (user stories, acceptance criteria) while unblocking teams to foster timely delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
