Grow here.In response to significant client demand and a strong infrastructure opportunity pipeline, the AECOM programme management advisory and delivery teams are seeking to grow across all grades.The team is seeking suitably experienced and capable individuals to work independently or with a Director to successfully shape, develop, initiate and deliver client investment and business change programmes.
The available roles will support programme advisory and delivery commissions across the whole programme lifecycle including programme definition, delivery model and organisational design, programme readiness, maturity assessments, programme management and PMO design and implementation.Depending on an individual’s grade, example role duties include:Support the team in the delivery of its strategic goals in relation to capability, growth and commercial targets;Lead or support the delivery of significant, complex programme management advisory or delivery commissions involving multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholder groups;Ensure commissions are managed and delivered to the appropriate quality standards and commercial expectations;Ensure a robust approach to risk identification, evaluation and mitigation is applied to all commissions;Demonstrate leadership in the implementation of AECOM health, safety and environment requirements;Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional teams to support successful delivery;Identify and act upon business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities within and without the team;Lead and support the development of proposals through the entire bid process;Ensure all direct reports are engaged, developed and supported along their own career journeys; andIdentify opportunities to share knowledge and best practice and promote the team both internally and externally with clients and relevant industry bodies.If you're passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you. Join our team, where we don't just construct infrastructure but also uplift communities and enhance lives.Why not give our AECOM Buildings + Places page on LinkedIn a follow to stay updated on the impactful projects we're working on and see first hand the difference we're making in the industry!QualificationsReady to push the limits of what’s possible?Here’s what we’re looking for:Depending on an individual’s grade, typical requirements and experience required includes:Public and private sector infrastructure, aviation, energy, rail and water experience preferred - other useful experience would include Defence, Government, Highways, Health and Decarbonisation.Complex, multi-disciplinary programme and PMO management experience;Proven track record for delivery;Key skills including: leadership, strategy development, relationship management, complex problem solving and insightful;Management consulting experience;Demonstrable client engagement at senior levels;Experience in client management – able to manage the account in terms of ‘live’ programmes while seeking new opportunities;Line management experience in a comparative consultancy business;Highly motivated with excellent industry network;Possess the ability to work across service lines (including a track record of cross-selling); andCommercial experience is essential along with a proven track record of winning and retaining new clients.Qualifications/criteria:Degree level education, ideally project or programme management/construction/engineering.ChPP or APM accreditationManaging Successful Programmes accredited (or international equivalent) is preferred.Experience using business information tools is preferred.Additional InformationInterested in the role or curious about life at AECOM?
