About The Role
The Associate Project Manager works alongside and assists the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing projects. They are responsible for coordinating various project activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the project stays on track.
They support the Project Team with internal process compliance, including the progress and status reporting of all functional and business requirements specific to the programme. The role will require close liaison and interaction with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Familiarisation and understanding of the Programme and contractual and scope-of-works responsibilities.
- Integration with resources, teams and stakeholders, understanding their responsibilities, requirements and scope delivery ownerships.
- Processing and expediting relevant documents within SharePoint.
- Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly dashboard reports and metrics.
- Documenting actions, recording and producing Minutes of Meetings.
- Assisting with informing the project team on performance, issues and risks.
- Production of Resource Induction Packs and information, including managing and tracking of inductions held and inductions required, and continuous improvements to induction documents and processes.
- Ownership and tracking of security requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with internal commission management processes, including but not limited to:
- Document Control
- Threat and Opportunity (risk) registers
- SharePoint structures and access
- Action logs and schedules
- Maintain accuracy of Resource Trackers.
- Ad-hoc tasks generated or requested by the Programme Lead and/or PMO Lead to meet imposing deadlines as they arise or are advised.
- Keeping a register of Zero Harm Shares, Safety Shares and Wellbeing Shares.
- Ensuring that effective governance and maturity assessments are implemented, maintained and appropriately managed. This will include assisting with executive board assurance reports and engagement with wider programme and project reporting processes.

Experience Required
- Experience in project coordination or related roles.
- Confident and proactive.
- A keen problem-solver, able to take initiative and drive the project forward.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.

Qualifications/Certifications
- Membership of a relevant professional body, or actively working towards achieving this.
Location
Warrington - hybrid working with a mix of office-based and remote working.
Security Requirements
- SC Clearance
