What’s unique about this role?
The Associate Project Manager (“Associate PM”) collaborates with project managers, operational teams, and clients to support the delivery of a wide range of eDiscovery projects, ensuring client requirements and project deadlines are met. Reporting to Directors, Associate Directors, Senior Project Managers, and Project Managers, the Associate PM plays a key role in coordinating client requests, tracking project progress across teams, and communicating status updates both internally and externally.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in project management within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The role offers exposure to a variety of client matters and project types, providing hands-on experience, structured development opportunities, and increasing responsibility as skills and confidence grow. Associate PMs are encouraged to take ownership of tasks, contribute to team initiatives, and develop the project management, client service, and operational skills required for future career progression.
This role does not have any personnel management responsibilities.
What will this person do?
- Develop a strong understanding of Lighthouse workflows, technologies, and operational processes.
- Work with project managers, clients, and operational teams to plan and deliver solutions across all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle.
- Work with Project Management team to coordinate and support the day-to-day delivery of eDiscovery matters, ensuring client requests are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Support project workflows in Relativity and other industry-leading technologies.
- Monitor project progress, manage priorities, and proactively identify risks on multiple workflows or projects in parallel. In addition to executing review support requests, additional support may also involve preparation for and attendance of kick-off calls, documenting matter workflows and assisting with matter closure workflows.
- Perform initial quality assurance reviews to ensure all work products meet client expectations and Lighthouse standards.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams and clients, providing timely updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reporting, schedules, and workflow records.
- Work with the wider team to manage and prioritise incoming work requests within the team, helping to balance workloads and meet service commitments.
- Contribute with ideas and improvements that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and the overall client experience.
- Develop expertise in eDiscovery workflows, technology, and best practices while supporting a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

It would also be great if you had the following:
- Proficiency in Relativity; experience in other eDiscovery software applications desirable.
- Strong analytical and logical skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to anticipate client needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a changing and growing workload.
- Understanding of project management skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
