About The Role
Knight Frank's Public Sector Advisory team is at the forefront of helping public sector organisations unlock value from their property portfolios, manage risk and deliver ambitious regeneration and transformational programmes. As a key strategic growth area for the business, our Public Sector Advisory (PSA) team works with central and local government, NHS Trusts, emergency services, and other public sector bodies across the UK, providing expert strategic, commercial and property advice.

With ambitious growth plans in place, we are looking for an experienced and driven individual to join our collaborative and high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that directly contribute to better public services, stronger communities and improved value for money.
The Opportunity
You will support and lead the delivery of a diverse range of advisory projects across our established service lines, including:
- Strategic Asset Management Plans (SAMPs)
- NHS property and estates advisory
- PFI expiry and transition strategies
- Delivery models and commercial structures
- Governance and procurement advice
- Business case development in line with HM Treasury Green Book principles
A particular focus of the role will be supporting and leading existing NHS property-related mandates, while also helping to grow our Strategic Asset Management Planning services across the wider public sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking, commercial analysis and client engagement, while developing their consultancy expertise within a market-leading team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of NHS property and estates advisory assignments, including managing external consultants and stakeholder relationships.
- Support the origination and delivery of Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) commissions across a range of public sector clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Lead client meetings, presentations and business development proposals.
- Identify new opportunities for the Public Sector Advisory team and wider Knight Frank business.
- Work closely with colleagues across Knight Frank and external advisers as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
- Produce high-quality reports, presentations and strategic recommendations.
- Undertake property, commercial and financial analysis to support client decision-making.
- Prepare development appraisals using industry-standard software.
- Promote Knight Frank's wider consultancy and agency services where appropriate.

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking an ambitious and collaborative individual who is passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes for public sector clients.
Technical Experience
- Degree qualified with a professional property qualification (MRICS or equivalent preferred).
- Experience providing strategic, commercial and/or property advice to public sector organisations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, including financial and commercial analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear, client-focused recommendations.
Experience working within public sector advisory, estates, property consultancy or related environments is highly desirable.
