We're proud to be supporting a leading construction and property consultancy as they continue to grow their Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into their first Associate role, or an established Associate Quantity Surveyor looking to join a business with an outstanding pipeline of work and genuine opportunities for progression.
The consultancy is entering an exciting phase of growth, with a strong portfolio of projects across the North West and a growing client base. They're looking for someone who wants to become a key part of that journey—building long-term client relationships, taking ownership of projects and helping shape the future of the Manchester office.
The Projects
One of the biggest attractions of this role is the quality of work.
The majority of projects are based in Central Manchester, meaning very little time spent travelling. Occasionally you'll visit sites further afield, but this is typically no more than 1–2 days per month.
Their portfolio includes a wide variety of schemes, including:
- Hotels
- Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA)
- Build-to-Rent developments
- Major office refurbishments and new-build commercial schemes
- Cladding and remediation projects
Project values range from £5m through to £140m, including involvement in a flagship £210m development that will become one of the city's defining schemes.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership and building trusted relationships with clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
