Associate Quantity Surveyor

Oxford | Construction Consultancy | Exceptional Career Progression

Are you looking for a role where your career can accelerate, your ideas are valued, and your contribution genuinely makes a difference?

I'm working with an outstanding, people-first construction consultancy in Oxford that has built its reputation not only on delivering exceptional projects, but on investing in its people. They believe the best businesses are built by empowering talented individuals, giving them responsibility, listening to their ideas and providing clear opportunities to progress.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an Associate Quantity Surveyor or an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership, mentor and grow a small team, build lasting client relationships and play a key role in the future success of the business. For someone with ambition, there is a clear pathway towards Partner level as the business continues to expand.

The Role

You'll work across a varied portfolio of construction projects, providing both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services while helping to develop and strengthen the Oxford team.

Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
