Role Overview
The Associate will support the Asset Management Operations function in embedding robust processes, data structures, and efficient reporting tools. The role ensures operational, financial, and asset-level information is accurate, consistent, and accessible, enabling data-driven decision-making and platform growth.
Collaborating across Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Finance, Data & Analytics, and other teams, the Associate will develop and manage:
- Sector Data & KPI Packs
- Property cash flow and returns processes
- Master Asset Management slide materials
- Country call content
By standardising workflows and improving efficiency, the role will empower the business to scale with reliability and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Reporting Management
- Deliver and maintain AM Operations products (Sector Data, cash flow processes, slide decks, and country call materials).
- Partner with Asset Management and country teams to collect, validate, and organise operational inputs for accurate reporting.

Process Improvement & Automation
- Strengthen and standardise monthly and quarterly processes, defining timelines, ownership, and repeatable methods.
- Transform Excel-based workflows into scalable systems (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI), improving automation and data integrity.

Specialist Reporting & Systems Work
- Develop and enhance property cash flow processes, including business plans, reforecasts, scenario/sensitivity analysis.
- Build Retail, Office, and Residential real estate sector capabilities by adapting the existing Industrial model.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Data & Analytics, Finance, and other teams to refine source data, reporting outputs, and system workflows.
- Maintain strong partnerships across functions, ensuring data quality, process accountability, and deliverable quality.

Action-Oriented Insights
- Proactively identify process gaps and data issues, proposing practical, scalable solutions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal Associate should have:
- 2–3 years’ experience in asset management operations, financial planning, analysis, or real estate analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Analytics or a relevant quantitative/commercial discipline.

Key Skills & Qualifications
🔹 Operational & Analytical Expertise
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling, including property-level cash flows, business planning, and scenario analysis.
- Process development mindset, with experience in workflow optimisation, documentation, and scalability.
🔹 Data & Systems Capability
- Strong data literacy, including large dataset reconciliation and issue identification.
- Experience with systems like Anaplan, Yardi, Power BI (direct experience a plus, but willingness to learn preferred).
🔹 Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, producing clear, executive-ready materials.
- Highly organised with meeting deadlines, balancing multiple deliverables across teams.
🔹 Adaptability & Emerging Tech
- AI literacy and strong commitment to leveraging AI for efficiency, while maintaining sound judgment.
Reporting Relationships
This role is managed by the Managing Director, Real Estate Equity.
